There was a man, who was known for his tranquility and love for everything in the world. He succeeded perfectly in everything he would start as his work. Everyone respected him and often came to him for advice.
Once his neighbor visited him, who envied him for everything , and the neighbor was arrogant and proud.
"I have everything in my life! - Said neighbor to respected man.
- "I live in full prosperity. But, you are more respected than I am. In your opinion, who do I look like?
The wise man smiled and said:
- "To me you look like God."
Jealous neighbor smiled contentedly. But he wanted to do an abomination to friend, so he cried out:
- "You look like dirt, to me ! I do not understand why the whole town appreciates you!"
Wise man did not answer, he just smiled a little.
The neighbor got even more angry, and asked:
- "Why don't you feel offended at my words, because you called me God, and I called you - garbage."
- "And why would I be offended?" - Said the wise man. - "One who knows God inside himself , he sees Him also in others. And the one who is full of dirt, see also anyone else , like a bunch of garbage."
The lesson: One see in other people, that what is in himself.
